Abstract

This piece of work objectified the accomplishment of a study on the Agricultural Adminisration Program settled by the rural extension service in the states of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, based on the benefitted family agriculturists’ point of view. Its accomplishment was made possible by a theorical-methodological approach with a qualitative character. Its especifically intended to evaluate the Program’s meaning to the agriculturists, as well as the factors which limited their adopting it. The study is justified by the fact that the agriculturists’ perception constitutes an essencial tool in understanding the reasons for their adopting or not a Program of such nature.
