Parques Nacionais E Suas Implicações Para Os Assentamentos Rurais: O Caso Do Parque Nacional Da Serra Da Bodoquena (Ms) E Do Projeto De Assentamento Canaã

Abstract

Objetivou-se,neste artigo,analisar as implicações sociais, econômicas e ambientais resultantes da criação do Parque Nacional da Serra da Bodoquena, para a comunidade de assentados do Projeto de Assentamento Canaã, verificando-se empiricamente a ação da presença de uma unidade de conservação federal do porte de um Parque Nacional na dinâmica de um assentamento. Metodologicamente, o estudo baseou-se nas três dimensões do Desenvolvimento Sustentável propostos pela World Comission on Environmental Development - WCED: Sociedade, Economia e Meio Ambiente, desmembrados em fatores ou critérios de sustentabilidade. No transcorrer da análise, podem-se identificar elementos que apontam indícios de que houve implicações nas dimensões em análise, refletindo a necessidade de se implementar programas de educação ambiental e de incorporação de novas tecnologias de produção compatíveis com os objetivos de preservação do Parque Nacional da Serra da Bodoquena. ----- This article has as objective to analyze the social, economic and environmental implications derived from the creation of the Bodoquena Mountain Range National Park for the settler’s community of the Canaã Settlement, empirically verifying the action of a federal conservation unit such as a National Park in the dynamics of a settlement. Methodologically, this study was based on the three dimensions of the Sustainable Development proposed by World Commission on Environmental Development - WCED: Society, Economy and Environment, fragmented in factors or criteria of sustainability. It can be identified on the development of the analysis, elements that points out implications occurrences in the analyzed dimensions, reflecting the necessity of implementing environmental educational programs and incorporation of new compatible technologies of production, according to the objectives of preservation of the Bodoquena Mountain Range National Park.
