Abstract

--------------------------------------------------------- This presentation intends to give a scientific itinerary from Milan to Florence. Visiting national and foreign towns, we can find surprisingly large number of sights, which can be connected with physics, history of physics, or physicists. The presentation of these types of sights can help to the physics teacher in making colourful the lectures in physics or in the history of physics, even to illustrate some laws of physics. Causing associations we can help our students to call the laws and the physicists to their mind. Beside this we also can arouse their interest to look for such sights in the several countries and cities. Travelling through the north of Italy, namely Lombardy and Toscana, I found a lot of sights which can be brought to connection with physics. This presentation intends to show them from the special camera obscure of the cathedral of Milan through the table of the unit of length in Pistoia to the interesting sundials and paintings keeping in hide in some churches in Florence.
