Abstract

A Koreai Köztársaság (Dél-Korea) a kelet-ázsiai régió egyik legjelentősebb gazdasága, amely mára többé-kevésbé eredményesen kilábalt az 1997-98. évi gazdasági- pénzügyi válságból. Az ország külgazdasági stratégiájában, jóllehet ma is meghatározó szerepe van két legfontosabb partnerének, az Egyesült Államoknak és Japánnak, ugyanakkor fokozatosan bővíti kapcsolatait egyrészt saját térsége más államaival (Kína, ASEAN), másrészt a tőle távolabb eső fejlett, illetve felzárkózóban lévő európai országokkal. A Koreai Köztársaság és Magyarország gazdasági (kereskedelmi és működőtőke-beruházási) kapcsolatai szintén bővülnek. Az írás a Koreai Köztársaság gazdasága jelenlegi helyzetének néhány sajátosságát, az EU és a Koreai Köztársaság külgazdasági kapcsolatainak alakulását mutatja be, továbbá rövid ismertetést ad a KNDK (Észak-Korea) és az EU közötti gazdasági kapcsolatokról is. -------------- The Republic of Korea (South Korea) constitutes one of the most important economies of the Far Eastern region. By now it has more or less efficiently recovered from the 1997/98 economic and financial crisis. The United States and Japan, the two most important export & import partners of the country, still play a decisive role. At the same time, however, South Korea also continually increases its connections with other countries of its region (China, ASEAN countries), on the one hand, and the closing-up countries of Europe, on the other hand. Thus, the economic relations of the Republic of Korea to Hungary (trade and operating capital investment) are increasing as well. The paper contains the description of some specific features of the present economic situation of the Republic of Korea, and the formation of the export & import relations between the European Union and the Republic of Korea. There is also a brief description of the economic relations between the people’s Democratic Republic of Korea (North Korea) and the European Union.
