Politiques et pratiques forestieres en Afrique seche

Author

Listed:
  • Buttoud, Gerard

Abstract

The way the wooded lands are presently used in dry Africa doesn't give guarantee for the conservation of resources for a long term, and increases the effects of the rural crisis. The difference between the official rules and their practical application is so important that a new policy is needed to control forest uses. Some directions to make peasants more responsible are formulated.
