Le syndicalisme viticole en Languedoc sous la Ve République

Abstract

At the beginning of the Fifth Republic, winegrowers' unions have specific characters. Specialized, they are indépendant from national farmers'union. The cooperation takes a protest role. The leaders of the viticulture are often left wing and for them when they defend viticulture they fight for all the Languedoc. The European legislation on wine production in 1970 changes the situation. Unions must have a new discurse and new practices. Beyond changes, permanent features are still present in winegrowers' unions.
