Rôle et place de l'agriculture dans l'aménagement et le développement des territoire

Abstract

In recent years the problem of territorial balances was highlighted by the political debates, so much so that town and country planning seems to have regained the national dimension it had lost since about two decades. Curiously however the resulting considerations and proposals seem far too much not to take into account rural areas and still less agriculture.Yet, the various evolutions of the first ones are at the origin of the current debates and agriculture remains the activity using the main part of rural land. Having analysed the major changes of rural territories, this contribution intends, on the basis of the discussions initiated by the Permanent Assembly of Chambers of Agriculture, to define the double part agriculture will have to play in the future, so as the conditions required for agriculture to occupy its due place in the town and country planning.
