Abstract

With the help of new informatic technics, farmers can buy and use management tools, in their farm. In fact, the use of these tools is in connexion with the transformation of their management practices. What are their place and what kind of role they have ? We choose to adopt an approach based on an interactive research with a group of farmers. The analysis of the ways to use tools and their effects in term of management suggests that the appropriation process leads to a kind of vigilance economy for farmers, in the context of their farm system and according to their technical and economic environment.
