Les reboisements des Alpes du sud : quel avenir?

Abstract

In the past century, reafforestation concerned about 100 000 hectares in the Southern Alps. Its long term future is in doubt because stands do not regenerate naturally. Specific operations including replanting are now urgently needed to rejuvenate the stands. Who will pay ?
