L'agriculture biologique, une alternative ?

Abstract

At a time when in many organizations questions are being asked about the future of French farming it may be interesting to examine the experiments attempted by those in favour of what is usually called biological farming. In these attempts are there not lessons to be learned for all those who assert the need to promote « maximum biological added value farming» — in other words, to take into account the new conditions in which non-replacable natural resources grow ever more expensive ? One may also consider that this is a form of « social experiment » with many lessons for all those who wonder about the future of our society : the biological farming fringe does not follow the lines laid down by the dominant social system.
