Investiţiile străine directe şi creşterea economică în România

Abstract

The actual paper aims to analyze the connection between the direct foreign investments and the economic growth in Romania for the period 1991-2012. The research is organized as follows: a brief overview of the field literature dedicated to the relationship between direct foreign investments and the economic growth, presentation of the objectives of the paper, the data used, the methodology and results. The conclusion of the paper is that there is a direct connection, but of mean intensity between the analyzed variables.
