Abstract

The tertiary sector is considered by many experts as one that contributing substantially to reducing economic phenomenon named unemployment, by attracting the people restructured from industry and agriculture. However, it should be realized that as economic development and the increase in content services for each sector, we're talking about existence and accentuating the phenomenon of integration intra-sectorial. The services actively participate at the production of material goods closely linked to the rest of the economy. We have proposed in this paper to realize an analysis of the evolution of employment in the service sector without claiming to clearly establish the share of services in employment because it must be taken into consideration that the statistics do not include the labor force engaged in services inside of enterprises producing goods or labor and materials that provide after-sales services to their customers. In this regard, we used official data provided by the National Statistical Institute of Romania and those provided by Eurostat.
