Globalization – tourism – communication, competitiveness triangle on the market affected by the economic crisis

Abstract

Socio-economic developments of recent years has affected the world economy, hence the tourism industry as well, which within interval 2008-2009 experienced the largest drop in tourist flows, and Romania followed the same downward trend. Tourism market, after suffering the shock, is characterized by greater caution, making the efforts of the tourism industry considerably higher for the promotion of tourism products and services.
