Abstract

Long-term public debt sustainability can be achieved by particular public debt management measures. The changes occurred in the Romanian legislation have performed in this field both to the reduction of public debt ratio and on the public debt interests, also on the diversification of the financial instruments, the maturities and the currencies of the public debt. The aim of this study is to present the legislative changes and their incidence on public debt sustainability using the Romanian case.
