The consumers’ protection could be realized both in a direct way, explicitly, through the juridical and parajuridical actions that consumers can use against the economic agents offering unsuitable merchandises or promoting illicit commercial practices and in an indirect way, implicitly, through the activities of standardization, accreditation and certification. Each consumer expects the product purchased to be safe in its using. The need of being safe entails the need of ensuring. But being safe could be subjective, therefore it comes the need of having standards, directives and other recognised regulations to whom the producer has to refer in his defence.
