Abstract

The participation in job-related training of foreign and native employed is analyzed with the scientific-use-file of the microcensus data Germany 2000. Two logistic regressions models examine the influence of the nationality on the probability of the attendance. Afterwards a regression is conducted separately for migrants and natives. It shows that the level of qualification, the age and the occupation play a decisive role, but partly different effects for natives and migrants are visible.
