1977-1997 Changements et continuités en économétrie des données de panel / 1977-1997 Changes and Continuities in Panel Data Econometrics

Abstract

Il y a un peu plus de 20 ans paraissait le numéro 30-31 d'Annales de l'Insee consacré à l'économétrie des données de panel. Ce numéro, dont plusieurs articles font encore référence, reprenait l'ensemble des contributions présen-tées à la conférence organisée à l'Insee en août 1977 par Pascal MAZ0DIER, Jacques MAIRESSE et Alain TROGNON. Une dizaine d'années plus tard, une autre conférence fut organisée, sur le même thème, à l'Université Paris XII - Val-de-Marne, à l'initiative des chercheurs de l'ERUDITE. Si celle-ci n'attira pas une participation aussi prestigieuse ni aussi nombreuse que la conférence de 1977, elle inaugura toutefois une série qui se poursuit aujour-d'hui et qui, grâce à l'aide de Pietro BALESTRA, Badi BALTAGI, Jacques MAIRESSE et Alain TROGNON entre autres, est passée du statut de « Journées d'étude » à celui de « Conférence internationale » et a pris place parmi les lieux de rencontre privilégiés des spécialistes du domaine.
