Abstract

To make communication easier, quicker, and to facilitate safe exchange of information internet was discovered. The use of internet in a healthy manner is defined as achieving a desired goal within an appropriate time period without experiencing intellectual or behavioural discomfort [1]. Over the years, ever increasing use of internet for work and leisure activities has led to its omnipresent presence across all activities of the day and this has disguised the boundaries between functional and dysfunctional internet use.
