Abstract

This study covers the method of multi-criteria assessment of innovative development of the Nizhny Novgorod region industries. The reference source for the information was the regional statistical survey within the framework of which, in contrast to the federal survey, a wider range of enterprises and organizations engaged in innovative activities was considered. The assessment criteria selected were two metrics. The first metric reflects the basic results of innovative activities while the second metric indicates the efficiency of technological transfer in the region. In the result of the survey conducted there was the whole range of the region's industrial enterprises analyzed. There were the most innovation-intensive industries identified including the mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, instrument engineering, information and communication industries.
