Not actually historical knowledge, but the integrity of culture which is expressed by all set of forms of spiritual development of social reality acts as the sphere of permission of this contradiction.The author believes that the myth acts as the major form in which there is a historical consciousness. Its value as factor of formation of historical consciousness is defined by degree of compliance of national and cultural tradition.
