Impact Of Covid-19 On Digital Banking Applications

Abstract

The effect of the global Covid-19 pandemic on the use of digital banking applications was analyzed, in this study. In the period under consideration, the effect of the pandemic on the use of digital products for the period of March 2017 - December 2022 was analyzed with 3-month data, as it represents a similar distance from the start date of the pandemic. According to the results of the analysis made with the test of the difference between the two population averages and the Mann-Whitney u test, the Covid-19 outbreak, the number of individual customers, the number of corporate customers and the total number of active customers; number of regular payment orders and invoice payment orders; number and volume of cash advance and cash advance in installment, the number and volume of money transfer transactions, and the number and transaction volume of payments.
