Abstract

The rapid depletion of natural resources and the increasing environment awareness have directed the tourism companies to be sensitive to the environment, continuously interacting with the environment and benefitting from environmental sources in its operations. In this study, it is tried to determine the influence of environmental costs tolerated to the competitiveness in environmental-sensitive facilities. For this, managers or environmental keepers of 64 green star facilities chosen by using easy sampling method were questioned by the survey method. The data obtained were analyzed with exploratory factor, correlation and regression analysis. A positive correlation was found between environmental costs and competitiveness.
