Understanding the Business Model Canvas

Abstract

2000s was the beginning of the period which having an idea has become more important than having capital for success of businesses. So, creating a business model, which is an impor tant starting point for all entrepreneurs, has become more essential to explain the details of the project to third parties. The aim of this paper is to define the concept of the business model and the parts of “Business Canvas Model”, developed by Alex Osterwalder.
