Abstract

In this paper, the most important indicator of money supply, Central Bank Money and its subaccounts stated in the liabilities of Central Bank Balance Sheet, will be analyzed for the period of 2002-2009. Central Bank Money and its subaccounts are a significant indicator for the money created by the Central Bank. The aggregates of Emission, Reserve Money, Monetary Base and Central Bank Money are analyzed successively. First the change of these aggregates will be analyzed and then by calculating their ratio in the Central Bank Balance Sheet the level of monetary expansion will be determined.
