Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the investment envi- ronment for foreign investors and to develop proposals to improve investment environment in Turkey. FDI inflows to Turkey have in- creased dramatically in the last years. There is no doubt that the measures that had been taken to improve the investment environ- ment have significant effects on this increase. However, the business environment, in terms of competition advantage, in Turkey is still not sufficient. By taking necessary measures, it is possible to attract more FDI, though.
