Role of the Ministry of justice in the preparation and holding of the first phase of Judicial reform of 1864

Abstract

In the article through the example of D.N. Zamyatnin and N.I. Stojanovsky the importance of the Ministry of Justice in the development of legal regulations on 20 November 1864 and the first stage of judicial reform is considered. The article shows the role of personnel policy of the Ministry of Justice that allowed in shortest time to launch a reform of the judicial system and legal proceedings in Russia.
