The role of the leader in formation corporate social responsibility of an organization

Abstract

At present, the role of non-material factors of economic, development has gained the momentum and the research in the field of social policy and corporate social responsibility of organizations has been actively developed. A special role in those processes belongs to the leaders, since it is them who determine the main components of the organization social policy, they are entrusted with social responsibility, both to staff and to society. The article analyzes the social functions of business, shows the systemic nature of corporate social responsibility as an important component of the company’s development strategy, which has an impact on the social and economic life of society as a whole. Proposals are made to enhance the social responsibility of managers of Russian enterprises and organizations.
