Abstract

The article considers the issues of transition to a recycling economy in the electronics industry. It names those concerning constructing cyclic models in this area, associated with the spatial dispersion of places for production of electronic equipment and places of its use and subsequent transition to the category of waste products of the electronic industry. It also analyzes existing methods for assessing the effectiveness of recirculation models, their advantages and limitations. The primary management objective is identiï¬ ed as the one to protect human health and the environment from the adverse effects of hazardous waste. The management objects of the waste management system being formed are identiï¬ ed, which include the amount of waste and the costs of collection, sorting, recycling and disposal. The basic requirements for the indicators included in the efficiency assessment system are named: the ability to assess the level of waste generation and disposal, the extent of pollution and the valuation of waste disposal costs. The author formulates the criteria for management efficiency, they are: the equality of special collections carried out to the costs of measures to reduce the amount of waste and the high sensitivity of the amount of waste to the increase in the above costs.
