Abstract

A obra relata os principais acontecimentos sociais, econômicos e educacionais que ocorreram no Brasil, desde o descobrimento até o final do século XX. Possibilita o entendimento da influência desta evolução sobre a educação na área contábil, além de contribuir com soluções para cada uma das atuais dificuldades, pelo fato de revelar sua origem, bem como o nível de crescimento da economia, a educação e a sociedade de diferentes épocas.
