Abstract

Zusammenfassung In diesem Beitrag werden die Einflussfaktoren auf die Forschungsreputation deutscher betriebswirtschaftlicher Fachbereiche analysiert. Mittels Partial Least Squares-Methodik werden identifizierte Einflussfaktoren hinsichtlich ihrer empirischen Relevanz ausgewertet. Im Resultat beeinflussen insbesondere die Publikationstätigkeit und die internationale Sichtbarkeit betriebswirtschaftlicher Fachbereiche deren Forschungsreputation positiv. Ein direkter Einfluss der Größe eines Fachbereichs kann hingegen nicht festgestellt werden. Vielmehr wird der Einfluss der Größe über die internationale Sichtbarkeit mediiert. Zusätzlich kann gezeigt werden, dass sich die Intensität der Lehrtätigkeit negativ auf die Publikationstätigkeit auswirkt.
