Abstract

According to the results of the latest Ifo Manager Survey, 50% of participants plan to invest just as much as last year in 2014. As far as personnel plans for 2014 are concerned, most of the managers surveyed (70%) stated that they wish their staff numbers to remain stable. Almost 45% expect competitiveness to deteriorate only slightly in 2014, while around 13% expect it to remain unchanged.
