Neutrality: An Aspect Of The Un Charter

Abstract

“Any achievement cannot be higher than working cooperatively with other countries to maintain peace and stability and remove the burden of war from our shoulders.” Just after World War II, an international body known as the “United Nations (UN)” was established in 1945. Its principal objectives are to protect human rights, social progress, higher living standards, and greater freedom on a global scale. Since the UN has become more involved in humanitarian relief and peacekeeping, neutrality has been scrutinized. This paper examines the idea of neutrality and how it relates to the UN. It looks at the chances and problems when the organization tries to keep its ideals while simultaneously addressing the intricate reality of world politics.
