Cifras de producción industrial ajustadas por días hábiles

Abstract

Las cifras de producción industrial de la Muestra Mensual Manufacturera delDane dependen del número de días hábiles por mes y no deben utilizarse sin el ajuste correspondiente. Este trabajo recopila la serie de días hábiles mensualesdesde 1980, tomando en cuenta los festivos anteriores a la Ley Emiliani, y ajusta la serie de producción real para obtener la producción real por día hábil. El crecimiento porcentual reportado por el Dane y el corregido por días hábiles pueden mostrar divergencias sustanciales, incluso de signo contrario.
