Abstract

This paper explores innovation and sustainability strategies in local food consumption within the Puuc region of Mexico. Emphasizing food sovereignty and consumer behavior, the study highlights how local practices can overcome systemic barriers to promote sustainable food systems. Through a socio-territorial lens, the research contributes to understanding localized responses to global food challenges in semi-rural contexts.
