Innovation und Vielfalt: Migration verhindert Rückgang bei Patentanmeldungen

Abstract

Migration leistet einen unverzichtbaren Beitrag zur Innovationskraft Deutschlands: Ein Rekordwert von 12,2 Prozent aller hierzulande entwickelten Patentanmeldungen geht inzwischen vollumfänglich auf Erfindende mit ausländischen Wurzeln zurück. Ohne letztere wäre die Patentleistung am Standort Deutschland in den letzten Jahren sogar gesunken. Viele deutsche Unternehmen weisen diesbezüglich bereits eine beachtliche Diversität auf.
