Zehn Jahre AfD: Der kurze Weg nach Osten

Abstract

Vor genau einem Jahrzehnt wurde die Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) gegründet. Seitdem hat sich der Fokus der damaligen westdeutsch geprägten "Professorenpartei" nach Ostdeutschland verschoben. Sowohl beim Anteil der Mitglieder als auch beim Anteil der Anlaufstellen für Bürger macht die AfD dort der Partei DIE LINKE Konkurrenz. Allerdings hat die AfD bundesweit Schwierigkeiten, sich hinsichtlich Mitgliederzahlen und Anlaufstellen in der Fläche zu verankern. Das Verhältnis von Anlaufstellen zu Bundestagsabgeordneten als ein Indikator für die organisationale Durchdringung ist mindestens um den Faktor viereinhalb schlechter als bei allen anderen Parteien.
