Abstract

Deutsche Maschinen- und Anlagenbauer nehmen seit Jahrzenten eine weltweit führende Rolle ein. Durch unzuverlässigere Lieferketten und zunehmenden Kosten- und Wettbewerbsdruck ist eine Steigerung ihrer Resilienz notwendig geworden. Einen Ansatz hierfür können Modularisierungsstrategien bieten. Die vorliegende Studie zeigt, inwiefern in kleinen, mittleren und großen Unternehmen des deutschen Maschinen- und Anlagenbaus Modularisierungsstrategien angewendet werden und welche positiven und negativen Aspekte aus organisationaler und arbeitspolitischer Sicht vorliegen.
