Abstract

In this study, the effect of Global development on the labour part and the effect of the position of Turkey’s labour part was examined.Primarily, in this study, the effect of global trade policies on the labour part was considered as centre-surrounding country, the heterogenous effects of trade on labour was examined both among the nations with a focus on technological changes and the income differences it creates between workers as well as the effect of these differences were examined in the scale of Turkey. In the examination, the effects of global trade on centre-surrounding countries were considered with macro economic trends and in theoretical framework of labour’s heterogenous structure and its effects on labour was discussed. In this sense, it was discussed whether “the hypothesis that the labour is globalized with trade” which was claimed by liberal circles is realistic or not. Within the foucus of this discussions, the employment structure of Turkey was analyzed; it was discussed within the scale of global development.
