Optimización de la inversión en VIH/SIDA en Argentina

Abstract

El objetivo del estudio es realizar el análisis de eficiencia distributiva de VIH mediante una herramienta técnica denominada Óptima VIH, que consiste en un modelo matemático de progresión de la transmisión y la enfermedad del VIH, que utiliza un análisis integrado de datos de la epidemia, del programa y de sus costos, para determinar la distribución óptima de las inversiones necesarias para atender mejor las necesidades de VIH. Óptima VIH en consecuencia, es un instrumento de apoyo para planificadores y tomadores de decisión en salud con el objetivo de hacer sustentable los programas. El estudio tiene, además, el objetivo de apoyar la decisión estratégica del Gobierno argentino, de ponerle fin a la epidemia, usando nuevos enfoques para el aprendizaje y el intercambio de buenas prácticas, así como efectuando análisis estratégicos que refuercen la rectoría nacional en materia de VIH, garanticen la rendición de cuentas y aumenten el impacto de la política sanitaria.
