Dominancia estocástica en las ofertas salariales y probabilidad de empleo

Abstract

En este artículo se analiza desde un punto de vista teórico y en el marco de un modelo de búsqueda, los efectos ambiguos del acceso a mejores ofertas salariales sobre la probabilidad final de que un individuo acepte un empleo. A fin de superar dicha ambigüedad analizamos los efectos sobre el salario de reserva de una mejora en las ofertas salariales, con y sin coste, y determinamos bajo que condiciones cabe esperar que un individuo adverso al riesgo opte o no por un método de búsqueda que mejore las ofertas salariales cuando dicha elección es costosa. Finalmente analizamos los efectos sobre la probabilidad de empleo de dicha elección.
