Abstract

With the development of Eurasian economic integration, the number of countries expressing a desire to join the free trade zone with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is increasing. In addition to Vietnam, with which the process of forming an FTA has already begun, about 40 countries are ready to sign similar Agreements with the EAEU, including India and China. By decision of a number of Western countries and, above all, the US, there was a noticeable reduction in access to their markets for Chinese export products, protectionist measures were introduced, customs duties were increased, etc., which forced China to search for new approaches to its foreign economic activity. Among them - the search for new markets, resources and supply chains, which ultimately could lead to a noticeable reduction in the cost of Chinese products and increase its competitiveness. This is reflected in the concepts of the “Economic Belt of the Silk Road” and “Sea Silk Road of the 21st Century”, which received the general name “One Belt and One Road”, which today represents one of the main directions of the foreign economic and foreign policy of China.
