Abstract

The article examines the evolution of the concept of sustainable development of socio-economic systems, international and national institutional framework for its practical application. The purpose of the study is to identify the reasons for the slow implementation of corporate social responsibility at the Russian enterprises. The study showed that the methodology of assessment of the quality management of the enterprise (organization) is based on the principle of a contribution to the country's sustainable development and social welfare. The leading role in creating long-term value of the company in the financial, social, environmental and ethical areas allocated corporate sustainability programs. The study prepared by the author concluded that the implementation of corporate social responsibility is not properly motivated to be a priority for the Russian enterprises (organizations). For Russian companies, especially those related to small and medium businesses, an important motive for the implementation of corporate social responsibility could be a preferential long-term loans on a project basis in the presence of non-financial reporting in business management systems.
