Abstract

Four different jurisdictions have been considered in this paper. The aim was to study the level of the quality of capital-expenditure management and to compare the relative importance of the features that one finds in such systems. At the end of this study there is a comparison of the five case studies discussed in this paper and the companion paper on Chile (Development Discussion Paper, 2014-03), which we attempt to rank the strength or importance of six important factors.
