Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi intrinsik dan ekstrinsik terhadap kinerja Aparatur Sipil Negara (ASN) pada Badan Pusat Statistik Kota Makassar. Variabel yang diteliti yaitu motivasi intrinsik, motivasi ekstrinsik, dan kinerja ASN. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner pada 31 ASN pada Badan Pusat Statistik Kota Makassar, hasil analisis regresi memberikan bukti bahwa rendahnya motivasi intrinsik yang ditunjukkan melalui tanggung jawab memiliki arah yang berlawanan dengan kinerja ASN, sehingga motivasi intrinsik yang rendah tidak mampu meningkatkan kinerja ASN yang tinggi, motivasi ekstrinsik yang tinggi diakibatkan lingkungan kerja berarah positif dan nyata dalam meningkatkan kinerja ASN yang ditunjukan melalui tingkat stres yang rendah yang dan dialami ASN menjadi penentu keberhasilan pekerjaan ASN
