Conocimiento de los consumidores marplatenses sobre las propiedades nutritivas de la papa fresca

Abstract

Por su riqueza nutritiva, la papa es un alimento saludable que responde a las recomendaciones dadas por los especialistas en nutrición. Es un alimento versátil y plenamente incorporado a la dieta de los argentinos. En este Trabajo, el interés se centra en el conocimiento de los consumidores acerca del valor nutritivo de la papa. Durante el mes de junio del año 2009, se realizó una encuesta a 500 hogares marplatenses tendiente a indagar cuestiones referidas al consumo de la papa fresca y a aspectos socio-demográficos y económicos del encuestado y de su grupo familiar. Es de resaltar la falta de información sobre las propiedades nutritivas de la papa que evidenciaron los encuestados; sólo el 50% de ellos manifestó conocer algún nutriente.
