Abstract

Les motifs qui ont conduit les grandes puissances économiques à élaborer des politiques agricoles et à leur consacrer des budgets publics conséquents durant la seconde moitié du XXe siècle sont en train de se transformer. Les objectifs les méthodes, et peut-être demain les sommes allouées, vont se modifier. Cependant, les faits semblent montrer que les politiques publiques agricoles demeurent d'actualité. De plus, apparaissent de façon croissante de nouvelles préoccupations des consommateurs et des citoyens en matière d'environnement, de sécurité des aliments ou de considérations éthiques comme le bien-être animal.
