Coalitions industrielles, reseaux de firmes et dynamiques de concurrence-cooperation dans les secteurs en cours de globalisation : le cas de l'industrie pharmaceutique

Abstract

L'une des caracteristiques saillantes des mutations en cours dans plusieurs grands secteurs industriels ou de services (dereglementation des marches , globalisation croissante, changements technologiques radicaux) reside d ans la concomitance de deux mouvements apparemment contradictoires : d'un cote, la competition tend a s'aiguiser et a devenir de plus en plus globale ; de l'autre, les relations de cooperation et/ou d'integration entre entreprises effectivement ou potentiellement rivales se multiplient et se diversifient. A partir du cas de l'industrie pharmaceutique, l'analyse proposee dans cet article tente de montrer comment ces mutations induisent une reconfiguration radicale des parametres structurels et des variables strategiques de la concurrence dans les grands secteurs desormais partiellement ou totalement ouverts à la competition internationale.
