Gli andamenti della spesa sanitaria: l'Italia in una sintetica comparazione internazionale

Abstract

Utilizzando la banca dati OECD Health Data 2003, questo lavoro ricostruisce le principali caratteristiche degli andamenti recenti della spesa sanitaria pubblica nei Paesi OCSE, con particolare riferimento alla posizione dell'Italia. L'analisi considera tre aspetti tra loro interconnessi: - la sostenibilità finanziaria della spesa sanitaria pubblica all'interno del totale della spesa sociale pubblica; - l'evoluzione relativa di finanziamento pubblico e finanziamento privato della spesa sanitaria complessiva; - l'evoluzione della composizione interna delle risorse private destinate a finanziamento della spesa sanitaria.
