Abstract

El presente documento aborada la situación de la ciudad de Bogotá en medio del proceso de globalización económica. Es un análisis comparado que tiene como objetivio mostrar el lugar que ocupa la capital colombiana en el nuevo escenario urbano dado por la globalización. Se pondrán a prueba las tesis propuestas por Saskia Sassen en su libro La ciudad Global que se refieren a la concentración de la actividad económica contemporánea y al lugar clave para las finanzas.
