Abstract

Grüne Infrastruktur beschreibt ein strategisch geplantes Netzwerk von qualitativ hochwertigen natürlichen und naturnahen Gebieten, das Ökosystemleistungen bereitstellt. Die Nachnutzung von Jahrhundertaufgaben-Flächen als Grüne Infrastruktur eröffnet eine Reihe von Nachnutzungsoptionen, die der nutzungsbezogenen Wiedereingliederung solcher Grundstücke in den Naturkreislauf zuzuordnen sind. Dies kann in Abhängigkeit von der geplanten Nachnutzung sowohl als Rekultivierung, Renaturierung oder vollständig naturnahe Herstellung des Ökosystems durch natürliche Sukzession bewerkstelligt werden. Auch die Nachnutzung als Grüne Infrastruktur erlaubt die ökonomische Inwertsetzung der Flächen.
